It looks like a moped on skis. It’s lighter, cheaper and easier to store than a snowmobile. It’s a snow scooter and it’s one of the current toys to get grown ups hopes pounding. And, for those worried gas prices, electric snow scooters are also available. Some snow scooters come with conversion kits where you can remove the skis and replace them with wheels, so you can ride it even when Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate.

Different Types For Different Kinds Of Fun

There are several different kinds of snow scooters with different body shapes and uses. One of the most common types has already been described. But another type looks like a handle bar stuck onto a large snowboard. You definitely need snow for these types of scow scooters. You have to stand on this. This kind of snow scooters are the least expensive you can buy.

Snow scooters come in a wide range of colors and sizes. Most are made just for one person, but some two-seaters can be found. You can also find personally modified machines done by hobbyists, but they would be for sale irregularly. Some snow scooters (especially the people-powered kind designed for kids coasting down a hill) will have a weight limit on them.

Legal Stuff

Unlike snowmobiles, you do not need driver’s insurance for snow scooters, just as you don’t need insurance for motor scooters. However, if you cause an accident, you still will be legally responsible for damages. You might also want to check your local Department of Motor Vehicles office about scooters. There are some cities that have laws pending banning any kind of scooter for public safety.

Also, because any kind of motor scooter is not considered a “real” vehicle, there is no regulation of any kind on them. This means they don’t have to pass any safety tests or perform to a certain standard. This appeals greatly to people who love to tinker with things like their scooters. However, if you are looking for a certain consistency in quality, you might not find it.

When buying any kind of motor scooter, see if you can get any kind of limited warranty on them. As they are not considered real vehicles, any warranties will be limited, indeed. If you are responsible and have good hand-eye coordination, you can still find places to have fun with a snow scooter. They are not recommended for six lane highways, but they can get you to the corner store and back.

Safety is probably one of the last things on your mind when you’re considering scooter tuning. But you can still get a powerful scooter without risking your life before you ever get on your news and improved scooter. First off, scooter tuning is going to cost you a pretty penny to get it done right – whether you do it yourself or hire someone else to do it. Don’t let anyone tinker with your scooter just because their services are cheap. Expect to invest in proper scooter tuning.

Do Your Research

Although there are some things you can only truly learn by doing, you shouldn’t risk your prize ride to a trial and error scooter tuning course. Have a bit of patience and do some research to find materials and instructions that clearly let you know what you need to do and what tools to do it with. You can find these on line, from scooter clubs and conventions and from publications.

Find A Good Work Space

Before you start any scooter tuning, you need to have a work area. Don’t assume that you can just dissect your scooter on the front lawn. You need a place where you can move freely, get to your tools easily and not have anything become damaged by oil, grease or gas. You need a well-ventilated place, because some of the chemicals in scooter tuning will make you dizzy.

If you work outside, then you need a flat area of concrete. A level space for scooter tuning will mean that when you set down a tool, it won’t roll away. You also need to be sure little kids or inquisitive pets don’t decide to trot off with your tools when your back is turned. If your friend has such an area, ask if you can work there rather than at home.

If you decide to do your scooter tuning in a garage, make sure it is neat and not cluttered up with papers and junk that can easily catch fire or trip you up as you’re walking around. Again, you need to have it well-ventilated. Check the electrical outlets and circuits before you get to work to make sure they are not going to spark and set off a fire.

If your parents or the owners of the garage are not happy with your motor scooter tuning plans, then they might thaw out once you have made the effort to clean up the garage. In these hard economic times, some people actually rent their garage out, even it’s attached to their home. They might also rent out half of their garage.

Gas Scooters are starting to show up more and more on our city streets. A favorite of Europe and Asia for many years, there is trend beginning where gas scooters are starting to fly off the shelves in America. When you consider their advantages, it is easy to see why:

1. Scooters get into less accidents.
The percentages and statistics show that scooter drivers get into less accidents than cars and motorcyclists. This is due in part because of the design of scooters. Since they are smaller vehicles, it is easy for them to maneuver and avoid accidents. In addition, most scooters are not made for highway driving where accidents are the highest. Finally, while riding a scooter, a scooter driver is required to have both hands on the wheel and is less likely to be distracted than say a car driving who is talking on their cell phone.

2. Scooters are cheaper to buy.
The cost of a new car or motorcycle is easily 3 to 5 times as much as a scooter. This means not only do you save money on gas mileage benefits, but you also save money at the very start with the purchase.

3. Scooters have cheaper repair bills.
Scooters have a basic straight-forward design which means that scooter repairs are uncomplicated and fairly easy to get corrected. This translates into cheaper repair bills compared to expensive bills you might pay on a sophisticated car.

4. Scooter get better gas mileage.
This fact is the draw for most motorists who make the switch from car to scooter is this great gas mileage savings. This is easy to see why when a scooter gets 60 to 80 mpg and a car gets 15 to 25 mpg.

5. Scooters can have cheaper insurance premiums.
Since scooters get into less accidents, you can often get cheaper insurance premiums. This is more great news for those who are trying to save their hard earned money.

6. Scooters are better for the environment than cars.
Scooters actually emit less emissions into the air. This means you know that you are creating a smaller carbon footprint when you ride your scooter.

With all of these advantages, it is easy to see why gas scooters have become the new “it” item. One additional piece of advice I would give when looking at gas scooters if you are a new scooter owner is to start with the Top Brands. The top brands include: Yamaha, Buddy, Vespa, Honday, and Aprilla. These brands have established quality reputations with past customers and have a sold parts and labor network in the US. Going with other brands can be somewhat dicey as they do not have the same reputation and it can be difficult to get parts for them. Therefore, unless you are a mechanic, I would stick with the top brands. However, regardless of which brand you choose, I think you will find that gas scooters are great for saving some cash and are a fun ride as well.

Before the 1920s it was an easy decision, a foot-powered push scooter or none at all. But once Gino Tsai from Shanghai, Taiwan developed the Razor scooter it changed everything. His motor scooters became popular so quickly there were people waiting in line for six months before they could get one.

In the 1950s companies like Vespa in the UK started selling the first of their gas motor scooters. It was a big hit at the 1950 Motorcycle Show and quickly became a big hit in the UK as well. Vespa sold over 125,000 in the UK between the years of 1950 to 1958. Piaggio from Vespa and Lambretta from Innocenti started selling their models in Italy and France too, quickly becoming the vehicles that everyone had to own. By the early 1950s the sale of motor scooters topped 1 million a year in France alone. Because of its popularity other countries such as France and Germany decided to get in on the boom by manufacturing their own models.

Today, after more than 50 years since the first gas scooters appeared, there are many different makes and models. We have electric, gas powered, foldable, mobility and utility motor scooters dotting the globe. There are specialized scooters for just about every task. They have become a worldwide phenomenon because they are cheap to own, economical to operate, are very handy and functional, and most of all they are a lot of fun. But with all of the makes and models which one is right for you?

Let’s start with the different types. Gas motor scooters are the fastest around. They will take you longer distances and reach higher speeds than any of the other varieties. There are smaller and lighter models that will be perfect for running errands around town while the larger and heavier touring models will take you on longer trips. Plus, the larger the gas tank the farther you can travel before needing to stop at a service station.

Electric varieties are a little more economical to run, but will usually travel only about 10 or 15 miles before needing a recharge. Their battery capacity has improved dramatically over the years, but they cannot be taken for long trips due to the fact that their batteries will need recharging periodically. However, for short trips around the city they are wonderful little vehicles. Plus, most scooters have a large storage capacity under the seat so they are ideal for trips to the grocery store or for other light shopping sprees.

The elderly or handicapped typically use what is referred to as mobility scooters. These are usually electric models and have 3 or 4 wheels for extra stability. These models give the elderly or disabled the ability to get about in their homes or around the neighborhood more easily. Without mobility scooters many of the disability-impaired would be confined to their beds.

Another very popular type is the foldable scooter. These are very small and are made for short trips around town. They are particularly popular among the younger crowds. The beauty of these models is that they are extremely compact and can be folded for storage in small places. If you work just a few miles from your home you can travel to work on your folding scooter and then fold it up and put it underneath your desk at work. Very handy.

There are also utility scooters which can be used for many different purposes. They can be used as golf carts or for hauling things. Many big businesses use these types for getting around their factories. Schools use them for driving through the parking lot, checking for cars that shouldn’t be there. Major league sports stadiums use them to drive people from one place to another. These are wonderful vehicles that can be used for a variety of reasons.

Once you’ve decided which type is right for your needs the next step is to figure out what options, if any, you would like included on your vehicle. Of course you can choose from many different colors and designs, but there are other options available to you. You can choose from the many varieties of covers, locks (for security), cases or side bags for storage, helmets, seats, handgrips, windshields or windscreens, backrests for touring, chrome kits, rear luggage racks and many more options. The list of accessories can go on for quite some time.

As a rule of thumb first choose the type of scooter you want, whether it be electric, gas, foldable or utility. This is the easy part because the type you purchase will depend upon your needs. Once that decision has been made look at several popular models in your area and decide which one looks and feels right to you. Most have accessories that are manufactured for a specific model so accessories cannot be decided upon until you know which motor scooter you are going to buy. Once you’ve decided which accessories you want for the model you chose it’s a simple matter of driving your scooter out of the dealership. And it’s nothing but fun from there on out.

Cheap motor scooters are lots of fun, which is why Larry Johnson is a motor scooter fanatic. He not only loves to ride motor scooters, but loves writing about them as well. For more information visit My Motor Scooters

Determining to Make the Change to Fuel Efficiency

With the cost of a gallon gas around $4 as the National average, there is no big secret why many consumers are very upset about what it costs to put enough fuel in their vehicle to get around. Depending on the type of vehicle you have, your overall cost will vary. It also depends on how many miles you put on your vehicle in a given span of time.

As a result of these continuous increases, consumers are left feeling helpless. Many of them are turning to fuel efficient vehicles that offer them the chance to pay less for fuel. They may be trading in their current vehicle for something else or buying an additional vehicle to help them cut costs. This change may be in the form of a new vehicle or a used one that still has plenty of life left in it.

Being able to calculate the differences between the ongoing cost of fuel for you right now, and what you will be paying if you do get a different vehicle is important. That way you can determine whether or not the purchase will be cost effective for you in the long run. There is no point of making any change if you aren’t able to get a great return on your investment.

First determine which type of fuel efficiency of your vehicle. It may be a two-wheeled model such as a motorcycle, moped, or scooter. It really depends on where you will be traveling. In considering this option, you need to pay attention to some other factors besides being able to save money on fuel.

For example, find out about the licensing requirements in your area. You also need to make safety a priority. Never operate any vehicle when the road conditions aren’t right for it.

Your decision could be to take a step toward fuel efficiency, by looking for a standard vehicle that is more fuel efficient than the one you are currently operating, or you can opt for a hybrid or a bio-diesel vehicle. Any of these choices can provide a great solution when you want to have a body of armor around you to protect you when you are on the road. It also provides you with room for more than one passenger. Who knows, maybe, even the decision to buy used japanese car (with the amount of changes done, like switching to ele-power) will be a smart step.

Hybrid vehicles are more expensive than standard fuel efficient models. This is due to the high demand for them as well as the cost of manufacturing them. They are excellent for the environment though, which, of course is refreshing to hear. They also only use fuel when the electricity or solar power that is the main power source has been depleted. The amount of gas you will use depends on how long a time there is before you are able to restore that main power source to the hybrid. Even when you are relying upon the gas for power you will get an amazing amount of miles per gallon out of yourfuel.

Bio-diesel is a type of alternative fuel that can be used instead of gasoline to operate your vehicle. It is important for you to understand that it is possible to “update” even the older vehicles that have a diesel system in them with a converter kit. This can cost a couple of thousand dollars but can prove to be very cost effective.

There are also bio-diesel vehicles you can buy new from the manufacturer. They operate with the use of vegetable oil and they seem to be vehicles that will last a very long time. They also don’t release as many emissions into the environment as other vehicles on our roads release.

The list of the top ten fuel efficient vehicles on the market right now should prove to be very helpful. If you are in the market for a new vehicle then take a look at the list to see what you like. No matter what you do, you must be well informed.

While you may love the look of a particular vehicle, the fact is that you may end up struggling continually to pay for the gas that it consumes. That’s not going to benefit you in any way, so make sure the amount of miles per gallon you can expect from what you buy is going to be something you can work with.

Fuel prices are expected to continue rising. That cost is something you need to think about when you shop for a fuel efficient vehicle, but it must also needs to be safe and must offer you enough room. Even though you want to maximize fuel savings, you still need to be realistic. It won’t work well to cram your family of five into a Ford Focus even though it offers really great gas mileage. You will need to go with a medium sized fuel efficient vehicle that may not get as many miles to the gallon, but you will all fit into it comfortably.

But in any case, before fuel gets up to $5 a gallon, which is predicted by the end of the year, you need to have a plan of action. You can sit around and let the cost continue to stress you out, or you can make plans to use a method of transportation that is more fuel efficient.

Hopefully you will soon be able to implement one of these fuel saving vehicles into your life. You will be able to breathe easier when you drive to the gas station and see the high prices that are posted for fuel. Remember, there is quite a demand for these vehicles these days, so the sooner you start to look, the better deal you will be able secure.

There are many different types of scooter tricks that anyone with decent riding abilities can perform and one such is known as the Bunny Hop which is in fact a basic trick that you should learn because it will stand you in good stead when wanting to do other and more difficult types of tricks. It is however not difficult to learn and before you do anything else, first build up a good head of speed and then bend your knees and remember by bending as low as possible you will be able to get up higher in the air.

Higher And Higher

Once you have bent down as low as possible, you then need to spring up high and in doing so you must pull up the handle bars higher and higher and remember the higher that you pull up the handle bars the higher you will be able to go. The next step to performing this simple scooter trick is to level out and then land as well as roll away cleanly and remember that you should never attempt this or any other scooter tricks without wearing a helmet.

There are several other scooter tricks worth learning among which is some that are known as the Indy, Mellon and Superman, which are air tricks. In addition, there is also the Superman Seat Grab, Rodeo and Back flip or Front flip and finally, One Footed Air Push and a whole lot more – some of which only people with advanced riding skills can perform.

However, before attempting any kind of scooter tricks you should be aware that they could end up causing you hurt, pain, injury and damage and you could even end up wrecking your scooter in the process. Thus, you should realize that you would be performing scooter tricks at your own risk and to be on the safe side you should not only wear the appropriate gear, but also have somebody experienced around when attempting scooter tricks.

Among the safety tips regarding performing scooter tricks you need to first of all ensure that your scooter is in proper working condition, and so you need to check that folding mechanisms are locked up and wheels are spinning freely and also without any rattle. Also, while performing scooter tricks, you need to be on the lookout for cars ahead and behind you and never attempt these tricks in busy places such as shopping areas.

What’s more, when attempting scooter tricks in wet conditions you need to be extra careful and be aware that your scooter’s brakes can easily fail and wheels too will tend to skid quite easily. Performing scooter tricks at night is a no-no – at least not without donning appropriate reflective clothes. And finally, you should also attempt only those tricks that you feel are within your abilities and thus you should never attempt tricks that are outside of your riding capabilities.

Learn more about fuel efficient vehicles

The cost of gas is more now than it has ever been. In many locations people are paying twice as much per gallon as they were two years ago. There is information circulating in the news and online, that the prices are just going to continue to get higher. This has many consumers very concerned and they are looking for other options. Certainly they can’t afford to continue just paying the posted price at the pumps. On the other hand, they can’t stop going to work or going about their daily routine that requires the use of a vehicle.

Are the times of dreams to buy used japanese car over?

A good strategy, to which some people are leaning, is non standard, more fuel efficient vehicles. There are several options, so take your time evaluating them, and make a good choice. You may find a combination of vehicles is the way to go. For example, use a motorcycle to get to work and then a fuel efficient hybrid car in which the family can get around.

There are advantages as well as disadvantages to each of the various fuel efficient vehicles. The goal is to save money without giving up safety and comfort. You should be able to find at least one fuel efficient vehicle that can do this for you.

Types of Fuel Efficient Vehicles

When it comes to fuel efficient vehicles, there are many different types from which to choose, such as vehicles with two wheels like motorcycles, mopeds, and scooters. In many ways these are each similar to one another, but there are enough significant variations to classify them differently. For example, a motorcycle can obtain much higher speeds than a moped or scooter.

There are also laws that pertain to where you can ride mopeds and scooters. They often aren’t allowed on highways or freeways where there is a high speed limit. They are mainly used for in-town riding, whereas motorcycles can travel on highways and other more heavily-traveled arteries.

There is also a lower age limit for obtaining a license for a moped or scooter, as compared to obtaining a license for a motorcycle. You will need to refer to the specific laws and regulations in your particular area.

Fuel efficient vehicles that feature four wheels include hybrids, those that operate by burning bio-diesel fuel, as well as fuel efficient gas-powered cars. All of them feature a variety of different models by various manufacturers. The good part of the story is that you will find that more are being offered in order to keep up with consumer demand.

Mopeds

A moped is similar to a motorcycle in a variety of ways, although it isn’t a mode of fuel efficient transportation that you can use to travel on the highway. The highest speed of travel for a moped is about 35 miles per hour. At such a slow speed, you would be a hazard to yourself and others on busy roadways.

A moped has a 50cc engine. This means you will have enough power to get around, but not enough power to be a hazard on the road. Make sure to wear a helmet when you operate a moped to be on the safe side.

Mopeds are really great for driving in town – they are perfect for it. That is because they are extremely lightweight. You can buy a new moped for only a couple of thousand dollars. You can get a used one for less than that, if you take the time to look in the right places.

Most of the mopeds out there feature a basket on the front in which you can place carry-along items for better convenience. You won’t be able to do a large amount of shopping, but you will have enough room for a few basic items.

In most states you must be at least 16 years of age to get a valid license to operate a moped. This often requires completing a course of instruction as well as a written test. The rules can vary, so make sure you find out how they apply in your own area.

For example in many locations if you already have a valid state driver’s license that was issued before 2001, you are exempt from the above process. You are automatically able to operate a moped in town without having to obtain the additional licensing.

Scooters

An electric Scooter is a notch below a moped in terms of speed. They aren’t going to go more than 20 miles per hour. Still, you can use them to get around faster and easier than by riding a bicycle. They are great if you live in an area where things are relatively close and you don’t have public transportation available.

The laws are very different about such issues as who can legally operate a scooter. They also depend on the type of scooter. In some areas children as young as 12 years of age are able to operate scooters. In other places though you must be the same age as required to legally operate a vehicle and have a valid driver’s license.

There are small sized scooters featuring a board on which you stand. This board is similar to a skateboard. Some models have an extremely thin board, whereas, other models have a fairly wide board. There is a handle, shaped like the letter T which is adjustable to your height, which you use to maneuver the scooter. There will be a small gas tank on the side of a scooter that can hold up to five gallons of gas. Many scooters have a pull-start mechanism that you need to engage before you can get the fuel to run through the system in order to obtain the necessary power to move about.

More expensive scooters look like mopeds, but they operate via the use of a battery and electricity. These models may or may not use gas depending on which model you select. Those that do require the use of gas, aren’t going to consume very much of it.

Finding ways to travel about that both children and adults can enjoy is a something that whole families are looking to do. The classic bike riding family is of course a mainstay in our society, but creeping up on the popularity of the bike is the scooter.

The scooter can come in both a motorized version and a manually moving type. The motorized version can be small, where the person stands and operates the machine, or in bigger versions that often reflect a vision of European living. Some people with disabilities also use motorized scooters, and it seems that more and more often, scooters are becoming a top choice in transportation.

Motorized Scooters And Others

For many, the motorized scooter allows for not only transportation but also saves on the use of gas. The larger type scooters like Mopeds can be seen more and more. For younger teens, there are also motorized scooters that can use either an electric battery or a battery and gasoline. These types of scooters are popular and the user needs to learn how to ride and operate the scooter, much like learning to drive a car.

For families, there are choices in the manual scooter world. There are three wheel scooters that aren’t just for kids any more. These three wheel scooters use a motion similar to rocking and rolling to maneuver them. Not only is this a great workout, but also the whole family can enjoy time together and an adventure.

Scooter Tires And Other Accessories

A scooter has certain physical features that may need to be replaced, including scooter tires. Scooter tires, especially the back ones can be difficult to find, as many outlets don’t carry the specialized size. When looking at scooter tires, a consumer may need to go on-line to order them. Scooter tires are important to the scooter, and a person should not ride a scooter that needs new tires. Check the scooter tires to make sure they are in good condition before using the scooter.

Other accessories for scooters include batteries and handle bar grips. Both of these items can usually be located at nearby stores or they can also be ordered on-line too. Handle grips can come in many different fun colors and can dress up a scooter. Make sure to wear a helmet whether riding a motorized scooter or manual scooter. It is important to remember to be safe in traffic too and obey traffic laws.

Scooters are an active way to not only get around but also have fun outside, the popularity of this type of vehicle will only continue to grow and many are enjoying it everyday.

Scooters come in many different shapes and sizes, and are meant for different purposes too. That’s why when we think of a scooter store, we’d be separated into different groups as to what kind of scooter we are thinking of. In contrast to knowing what it means when someone asks “Want to go to the grocery store?” but when asked about a scooter store, we may wonder just what the person is talking about.

Interest in scooter may be for joy rides, to get around while disabled, and to help with long walks. Depending on your need, you’ll want to know what kinds of scooter stores are available to you as a consumer so that you can choose the right one for your needs.

Otherwise, you may find yourself running around town just to find that the stores you visit don’t offer the products that you had in mind.

Two Kinds

There are 2 major kinds of scooters when it comes to the kind of scooters that are available on the market today.

Scooters for handicapped and older people or people who have trouble getting around on there own are very popular today, so you can find numerous scooter stores that offer only this type of scooter. These kinds of scooters are not the kind that are drivable on the road, in fact they move slowly, usually about walking speed, and have 3 or 4 wheels with a big seat and a basket in front to hold groceries or what have you.

You’ll find that most are electric, and some can be plugged into a power source overnight in order to regain energy for the next day’s use. You won’t have to worry about gas or insurance or other costly investments when it comes to owning a scooter like this, and you can usually find reasonable prices for new and used models. These kinds of scooter stores will place advertisements that are geared toward senior citizens, but people of all ages find reasons to own one. Broken bones, back problems and childhood mobility problems are such a few.

Scooters meant to travel on roads are the other major kind of scooter available at stores in the marketplace today. These scooters usually get up to about 35 miles per hour, so they are not suitable for freeways and highways. However, they are useful for rural areas and towns when it comes to single people or teenagers getting around.

If you opt for a moped instead of a scooter at the store, you won’t even need a license to drive it in many states. This is because the horsepower in a moped is half as much as that of a scooter, making it possible to go no faster than 30 miles per hour. This means young teens and people who cannot get driver’s licenses can have a means to get around! You can even find “green” mopeds and scooters that offer the opportunity to own transportation without the hassles of gas. Just plug it in at night, and drive up to a total of 30 miles the next day. Needless to say, moped and scooter stores can be fun just to browse, and they can be found in most major cities as well as online.

If you have a deep love for scooters, then you would probably have heard of, if not also owned a Vespa scooter that for more than sixty years has been one of the best scooters available anywhere on the planet. Its origins of course takes one to Italy where the Vespa scooter was manufactured with a view to replacing bicycles as an affordable means of transport.

For those who own an old Vespa scooter, the need to find scooter parts for it must indeed be urgent, especially as keeping this vintage scooter, and indeed any other type of scooter, in fine working condition will have you frequently heading to a garage or spare parts dealer looking for appropriate scooter parts to replace old and worn out as well as defective ones.

Performance And Non-Performance Parts

Broadly speaking, scooter parts can be categorized as performance parts and non-performance parts. Among the performance scooter parts there are motors that come in a number of wattages as well as drive types which can even be chain or belt drive. Furthermore, motors can be mounted in different ways including the bracket mount and also the band mount.

Sometimes, you may even require replacing scooter parts in order to improve the performance of the scooter and not just to replace worn out and defective parts. Hence, by increasing a motor’s wattage you can get your scooter to go faster as well as improves torque and your scooter will also perform better on inclines and when climbing hills. When you increase the wattage, you will also need to change another scooter part and that is to replace the motor’s belt with a chain because belts will easily wear out when used with motors of higher wattage.

Another common scooter part is the wheel that are generally driven by a belt, though you can also look for wheels driven by chains and by replacing the belt with a chain you will be able to complement a higher wattage motor that you have chosen for your scooter. Also, you may want to change the number of teeth on your rear sprocket with either a sixty-four-tooth sprocket or one that has eighty teeth and if you choose the former, you can expect your scooter to go about a quarter faster as compared with other types of sprockets.

Even batteries are very important scooter parts that must be able to produce sufficient power for your scooter and so you need to look for a battery that provides sufficient amperage so that the performance of your scooter is not adversely affected.

What’s more, when choosing scooter parts it is worth remembering that there are a few factors that each have an effect on the overall performance of your scooter and they include things such as the temperature outside, the condition of the road surface, operating environment as well as quality of the battery and motor winding and a whole lot more.

If you choose the parts while keeping these other factors in mind you should be able to find the appropriate part and thus get optimum performance.
